H806 - Hospitalist - Central Vermont
Hospitalist start up program at 25 bed critical access hospital with 3 bed ICU, located in picturesque Central Vermont within close proximity of Stowe and other local ski resorts. Seeking two hospitalists, each work 7 on 7 off. The total hospital census is about 12 patients per day, physician will be on call at night during the week that they are on, however it is rare that they would be called in since the census is so low. New Hospitalist can assist in program development or can just work as an attending. Hospitalist experienced with ICU will be highly considered. Starting salary at $200k, plus full benefits, Medical and Malpractice insurance and Vacation and CME time. |

188 bed Hospital located in Central Vermont is seeking an Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join ten others. Second largest hospital in the state and licensed. Our hospitalist program began in 2000. Employed opportunity with $180k base with full benefits and Relocation allowance up to $8k. Care for the inpatients of the peripheral primary care practices who have signed on for coverage. Clinical Nurse Coordinators are assigned to work closely with the hospitalists to move patients through the hospital system efficiently and arrange discharge planning. 12 shifts in 28 days. Average number of patient per shift is 12-15. No ICU responsibility. ICU is covered by three fulltime intensivists. Benefits include 403B retirement plan with Hospital match, Malpractice provided, Health, Dental and Disability insurances, Defined Contribution retirement account, College Savings account, Tax-deferred earnings program, CME: One week (5 days) with $3500 in CME funds annually and Relocation expenses paid up to $8000. |
