RI2 - PM&R - Rhode Island – Medical Director Needed in beautiful southern RI

Seeking a qualified, full - time Medical director. Located in a beautiful seaport community this community hospital boasts a state - of - the - art technology, including designation as one of the "100 Most Wired Hospitals", PACS, and electronic inpatient medical record. Additionally, the facility holds "Baby Friendly" designation and is certified by Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. The new Medical Director will provide medical direction for a rehabilitation center including:12 - bed CARF - accredited Acute Rehabilitation Unit and Rehabilitation Outpatient Center including Orthotics and Prosthetics Clinic.
The incoming Medical Director must have a Rhode Island MD License, Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or alternative other board certified specialty with formal residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Four years clinical experience preferred.
